(System Performance Evaluation Cooperative (Corporation)) консорциум по оценке и стандартизации показателей быстродействия (производительности) [вычислительных] машин, группа SPECорганизация, занимающаяся стандартизацией тестов. Создана в 1988 г. поставщиками рабочих станций. Первый её набор тестов назывался SPECmark (SPEC89), через три года его заменил SPEC92. В сентябре 1996 г. SPEC выпустила набор эталонных тестов SPEC CPU95, включавший в себя SPECint95 и SPECfp95. 30 июня 2000 г. SPEC заменила SPEC95 на набор тестов SPEC CPU2000. Для тестирования web-серверов она разработала тесты SPECweb96, SPECweb97, SPECweb99, SPECweb2000Англо-русский толковый словарь терминов и сокращений по ВТ, Интернету и программированию. > SPEC
